Jhamil Abdala

With over 35 years of experience in information technology and telecommunications, Jhamil Bueno-Abdala has led MSI Americas from its inception to becoming a recognized regional leader in technology solutions, strategic consulting, and digital transformation. An engineer and entrepreneur, he combines deep technical expertise with a strategic vision focused on innovation, sustainability, and global growth.

Throughout his career, he has directed complex initiatives across Latin America, the United States, Europe, and Asia—covering AI, cybersecurity, cloud management, and next-generation wireless networks. His leadership is defined by foresight and the ability to build multicultural teams that turn technology into measurable business value.

He holds a Ph.D. in Management of Technology from California Coast University and an MBA from DePaul University, and is fluent in English, Spanish, and Portuguese. Under his leadership, MSI operates with a clear philosophy: to merge engineering, strategy, and culture to transform technological challenges into sustainable growth.

Juan Viscarra

Executive Director – MSI Amériques

International executive and strategic consultant with more than 20 years of experience in corporate leadership, international expansion, and regulatory affairs across Latin America. He has led operations and major projects in technology, telecommunications, infrastructure, and strategic consulting, combining executive vision with a deep understanding of institutional, financial, and operational environments in the region.

A specialist in strategy, regulation, and government affairs, he advises multinational corporations on soft-landing, nearshoring, and regulatory compliance, ensuring secure expansion and long-term operational stability. His trajectory positions him as a bridge between strategy and execution, with strong command of complex regulatory contexts and multicultural environments.

For more than a decade, he directed MSI Américas Mexico, leading large-scale initiatives such as Mexico’s Red Compartida for Nokia Mexico and other international telecommunications and infrastructure projects.

He has worked and lived in Mexico, Bolivia, Spain, and the United States, and has directed projects in Panama, Guatemala, and Venezuela. He currently leads MSI Amériques, the group’s Canadian expansion, in cooperation with MAF Asociados, Centregy, and DCI Group (U.S.).

He is also co-founder of The Intruder Arts & Press, participating in editorial, theatrical, and artistic projects aimed at strengthening community development through arts and culture.

Lawyer (Universidad Católica Boliviana), with a Master’s in Fundamental Rights (Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Spain) and an MBA (ICADE, Spain). Speaks Spanish, English, and French.
